
CUSTOM CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS CAMPAIGN
Project Goals
Every year, the PCT Top 100 list highlights the best pest control companies in the country. With over 30 of our clients making the list, we wanted to celebrate them in a way that didn’t rely on the usual boring plaque or generic trophy. Our goal was to create something cool and memorable that they’d actually be excited to show off.
Solution
Instead of the typical awards, I went big and bold with custom championship belts. These weren’t the cheap, sticker-covered kind. Each belt had solid metal plates, carefully engraved and hand-painted with the customer’s name and our company branding.
We started with a teaser email to build some buzz and get people curious about what was coming. A few weeks later, the belts showed up at their offices, packaged with a postcard inviting them to join a social media contest in which they could show off their new prize. I even got to deliver a few belts in person, and everyone loved the surprise and unique recognition. We kept the tradition going every year, making it something everyone looks forward to.
My Responsibilities
I came up with the concept of the championship belts as a fresh, fun way to honor our clients. I designed the belts and worked closely with the belt maker to make sure they looked amazing, all while keeping an eye on the budget. Once the belts were ready, I handled the design of the teaser emails, postcards, and the social media campaign to get people involved and excited.
